Kirie is Yukinari Sasaki's neighbor and classmate who takes care of him from time to time. She is especially well-endowed, which makes her a natural target for Kazuharu Fukuyama's perverted actions. However, due to her physical aptitude and martial-arts abilities, she always defeats him. She also sometimes punishes Yukinari Sasaki for his bad luck. Kirie inadvertently sends Yukinari to his first arrival into Seiren when she slugs him for unintentionally walking in on her when her shower was not working correctly and she used Yukinari's instead, which led him to fall into the bathtub. Despite their somewhat turbulent relationship, Kirie has a deep affection for Yukinari and usually tries to help him. Because of her strong character, Kirie seems to attract a large number of admirers among the boys in her high school. In the manga, Kirie is accosted by an alternate version of Lisa Fukuyama when she enters a parallel world through an enchanted mirror in Fukuyama's house. In the anime adaptation, she also attracts female admirers, specifically Kosame and Hijiri Kanata, much to her dismay. A running gag throughout the series is Kirie's complete lack of cooking skills which result in the creation of food that is inedible and dangerous. Kirie suffers a fear of ghosts and the paranormal, and despite her tomboyish character enjoys collecting dolls. Kirie is voiced by Chiwa Saito in Japanese and by Lulu Chiang in English. Frank McKinney Hubbard (born 1 September 1868 in Bellefontaine, Ohio - died: 26 December 1930 in Indianapolis, Indiana) was an American cartoonist, humorist, and journalist better known by his pen name "Kin" Hubbard.
He was creator of the cartoon "Abe Martin of Brown County" which ran in U.S. newspapers from 1904 until his death in 1930, and was the originator of many political quips that remain in use. North American humorist Will Rogers reportedly declared Kin to be "America's greatest humorist."
The American playwright, screenwriter and journalist Lawrence Riley wrote the biographical play Kin Hubbard (1949) in his memory. It starred Tom Ewell and June Lockhart.

KIM Isabu(金 異斯夫) was a general and politician of Shilla(新羅, Silla) during the 6th century. He was also known as Taejong(苔宗). He is best remembered today for his role in subjugating the island nation of Usanguk(于山國), which is Ulleungdo(鬱陵島) and Dokdo(獨島) areas today. Although frequently referred to as "Isabu", his family name is written as KIM in the Samguk Sagi(三國史記). He was the 4th generation descendant of King Naemul(奈勿王), which also provides direct proof that his family name was KIM.
But In Samguk Yusa(三國遺事), his name is Park I-Jong(朴伊宗).
In 512, or the 13th year of King Jijeung(智證王), he captured Usanguk(于山國) as the governor of Haseullaju(何瑟羅州), which is Gangneung(江陵) area today. At that time, Usanguk was an independent tribal nation by the seas. Because of its people's aggressiveness and fieriness, it was not easy to defeat them. Therefore, Isabu came up with a wise tactic. He made wooden lions, arranged them on his vessels, and proceeded to Usanguk. Then, he said, "If you don't surrender, I'll release these hungry lions and have them eat you." As a result, the people of Usanguk surrendered obediently and promised to pay taxes to Shilla every year.
In 541, or the 2nd year of King Jinheung(眞興王), Isabu became Ichan(伊飡), which is the second highest position in Shilla’s Cabinet. He also advised the King about the importance of organizing a national history and appointed GEO Chilbu(居柒夫) to publish Shilla's national history. Dokdo has been a territory of Korea since the time of Isabu.
